POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for the creation and distribution of financial reports. This includes both scheduled and ad hoc reporting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design and distribute monthly financial reports.

• Perform financial forecasting, annual business plan and rolling plan, variance analysis of actual versus forecasting.

• Assist in the month end and year end closing process to ensure transactions are in accordance with GAAP.

• Prepare financial related analysis and research in areas such as financial and cost saving performance measures.

• Participate in annual budget process.

• Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by management.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Scheduling:

• Monday through Friday, 45 to 50 hours per week. May need to be available evenings or weekends for monthly or annual closings.

Physical Ability:

• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting of 20 pounds

• Sitting most of the day

• Good speech and hearing necessary for communicating with the public, and talking with vendors on the telephone

• Sight for performing computer work and paperwork

Mental Ability:

• Good mathematical aptitude

Education:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of financial reporting experience in multi-unit restaurants or a related field

• Ability to work independently on complex Business Operations and financial modeling and monthly status reporting.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft SSRS report builder, SQL, Microsoft Power BI Desktop and other financial dashboards

• Ability to effectively present information visually, verbally and in writing, tailored to a specific audience

• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide

• Working knowledge of MS Excel and other commonly used office software
