Financial Analyst

Job Description Job Description Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous Financial Analyst with expertise in Excel VBA and Macros to streamline our financial processes and support our sales team.

The ideal candidate will leverage their technical proficiency to integrate external data sources, perform sensitivity analyses, and optimize financial models. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex Excel models using VBA and Macros to streamline data integration and analysis from external sources, including SQL databases. Perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate pricing strategies and volume discounts based on data retrieved from ERP systems.

Compile nutritional and supplemental information from ingredient lists, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with the sales team (12 people) to streamline quote generation processes directly within Excel, eliminating the need for separate Word documents. Transfer existing Word document-based processes into efficient Excel models, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.

Ensure consistency and accuracy of data transferred from Word documents to Excel, particularly in the ingredients section. Provide training and support to sales team members on using Excel tools effectively for quote generation and analysis. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with a strong emphasis on Excel VBA and Macros. Solid understanding of SQL databases; ability to extract and manipulate data for financial analysis purposes (basic SQL knowledge required). Expertise in developing and maintaining complex Excel models for financial analysis, including sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly in retrieving pricing information and integrating it into Excel models.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
