Title: Sr Specialist, Financial Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

This position will work a hybrid schedule with over 50% of time spent on site in office in Salt Lake CIty, UT. Relocation is not offered at this time.

Our Financial Analysts are responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial plans and controls, pricing and proposal analysis, program scheduling and cost management. You are the SME to represent and communicate the financial status, challenges, and forecasts for the teams and groups that you support. You must have the maturity and experience to know when and how to ask for help. You must be able to work autonomously with little direction. Willing to share process improvement ideas with the entire finance team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9/80, every other Friday off.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Weekly cost reports for customer and cost account management review

  • Contract funds status reports

  • Monthly program management review packages

  • Internal forecasts of estimates to complete

  • Internal monthly reviews

  • Participate in the development and input of budgets, work breakdown structures, and work package plans

  • Analyze expenditure trends; revenue projections and support ad-hoc report requests

  • Other duties as management requests

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business discipline AND

  • 6+ years recent hands on experience as a Financial Analyst or Cost Analyst or Budget Analyst in a DoD contracting company.

  • Advanced experience with MS Office suite

  • Advanced experience with Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and macros.

  • Must have full time REMOTE work experience to be considered for work from home.

  • Must be able to work a core hours schedule of 8am-4pm Mountain Time Zone.

  • Must be able and willing to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.


  • Masters Degree preferred

  • Hand on experience with EVMS highly desired.

  • Active DoD security clearance

  • Experience with Cobra EVMS

  • Experience with SAP
