PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for analyzing and reporting on all aspects of company financial performance including revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses and capital.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Acting as a finance business partner and service provider to a number of functional leaders providing ongoing financial support,

guidance and influence

  • Provide monthly variance analysis and reporting for supported organizations, and highlight key issues and trends influencing performance goals, as well as risks and opportunities

  • Work with department managers to manage spending, identify problem areas, perform gap analysis, and recommend corrective

actions

  • Support the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to execute on all financial planning goals, including strategic planning,

annual budgets, forecasting and reporting

  • Assist with oversight and implementation of corporate projects and best practice initiatives

  • Assist with business performance analysis as needed, including helping organization prepare for internal & external reviews, ensure financial and operating plans are appropriately structured and utilize meaningful business dashboards and metrics

  • Perform ad hoc analysis as needed for senior management

  • Other duties as assigned/ as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience required showing increasing responsibilities; a strong understanding of accounting and finance principles & accounting systems to enable quick identification of problems & solutions; computer literacy, with excel spreadsheet excellence; knowledge and experience in equipment rental/construction or logistics industry a plus; effective leadership/motivation organization, and communication skills; self starter; strong work ethic; ability to function in dynamic environment and set priorities; multi-task capabilities with attention to detail; strong ability to meet deadlines.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to customers, clients, and employees of the USS organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate and analyze complex financial data including Return on Investment (ROI), Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR), Net Present Value (NPV), etc. and develop financial models to expedite turnaround on deliverables.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Driver License (Class C) when off-site travel required.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of: Financial analyst (Central functions) - VIE Contract (W/M) This role will report to the Biologics Director of FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis). This role is a key business partner to the heads of Manufacturing Science, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain within the Specialty Care Organization. This role is responsible for all financial reporting, budget planning and ultimately financial performance for the aforementioned functions. Maintaining a consistent and open dialogue with the functional leads is a critical element for success in this position. Responsibilities: * Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all expense-related aspects to the internal organization * Supporting and participating in month end close which includes: Monthly Accruals preparation, validation and analysis of results, provide visibility on performance, challenge operations, track financial impact of improvement plans, and perform entries * Creating awareness and visibility on costs * Identifying and reporting risks and opportunities * Assisting with audits both internal and external * Budget Controlling: Provide accurate and relevant analysis to control spend (headcount, costs) * Being accountable for performance vs. budget and forecasts * Tracking all consulting headcount and costs on site, being accountable for the optimized use of these resources and for the tracking of these expenses * Preparing month-end commentary and analysis For Budget/Forecast/Strat Plan: * Supporting forecast and budget exercise * Building and issuing template and collect spending and headcount data for the functions supported; challenging costs * Participating actively in cost reduction projects Requirements: * Master degree in Finance, Auditing, Accounting, General Management * 2 years of finance/accounting experience would be preferred * Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills * Demonstrating analytical, communication and collaboration skills in the workplace * Language: English At Sanofi diversity and inclusion is foundational to how we operate and embedded in our Core Values.
