Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid)

Reporting to: EVP, Head of TV Production Finance

Summary

Legendary is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our Television Production Finance department. We are looking for a driven professional with strong production accounting skills to provide direct support to our production business groups. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for the planning, financial administration, and production of top-tier global television programming.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for projects during development, prep and wrap phases.

  • Input and manage accounts payable payments for projects in development, prep and wrap stages.

  • Verify payment information and setup wires in banking system.

  • Assist in compiling documentation for various audits including participation, license fee, breakage, co-production, guild compliance and production incentives.

  • Assist with payment and tracking of Television Development expenses.

  • Track and File GST Returns for shows during prep and wrap.

  • Collaborate with Finance Executives to account for documents as shows wrap; handle file submission for scanning; review and reconcile exception reports.

  • Support the Residuals department by collecting documents for residual setups.

  • Other tasks as required by Production Finance Executives.

  • Provide administrative assistance to the EVP, Head of Production Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years in Production Accounting preferred

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Production Accounting software

  • Dependable, organized and strong attention to detail

  • Strong problem solving, project management, and time management abilities

  • Proactive and collaborative working style with an interest in being part of a fast-paced team environment

  • Positive attitude and flexible

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $67,000 to $74,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. Total rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. Legendary Entertainment also provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, employee wellness programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, year-round paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, market demands and indicators, specific and unique skills or training, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City and California.
