Job Description

The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands Remington, Federal Premium, CCI, Speer and Hevi-Shot. We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Oregon, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is an operating segment of Vista Outdoor Inc., but as recently announced will soon merge with a private multi-national company with a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aviation and rail industries.

The Kinetic Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to add to our dynamic team in Anoka, Minnesota.

This position reports to the FP&A Manager and is based out of our office in Anoka.

As the Financial Analyst, you will have an opportunity to:

• Support the ammunition business with financial planning, forecasting and analytical analysis

• Support our operations team leads with reporting to help to make day to day business decisions

• Support management with reporting, special projects and presentations

• Effectively communicate and build relationships with finance teams and other business partners across the company to drive comprehensive deliverables

• Collaborate on FP&A related process improvements; provide input to improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting

• Develop, report and analyze weekly, monthly metrics

• Support ad hoc reporting, analysis and key projects

• Other duties as requested

You have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Finance

• 0-2 years of financial analyst experience

• Strong business acumen with an ability to rely on judgment to plan and accomplish goals

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization

• Team player with a service mentality and a high level of energy and enthusiasm

• Results-oriented - takes great pride in accountability

• Working understanding of GAAP

• Excellent PC skills, including high proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

• Strong analytical ability

• Ability to work cross functionally across the organization

• Results-oriented

• Takes direction and manages multiple priorities
