SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Financial Analyst will provide financial & analytical support to the plant operations team. The Financial Analyst will assist in budget and forecasting processes, financial reporting, monthly financial performance analysis, capital expenditure project evaluation and control.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Analyzes business and financial data.
Provides support in creating financial models for analytics to support organizational decision making.
Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
Evaluates financial measures.
Prepares financial reports and budgets.
Prepares financial forecasts and statements to help understand the financial state of the business.
Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
Monitors inventory for accurate records
Evaluates ERP data integrity
Problem solving related to ERP subledger records
Works with Engineering on standard costs and Bill Of Material (BOM) updates
Works with teams on capital appropriation requests
Assists with reviewing profit margin analysis and cost control opportunities
Serve as the "go to" finance person at this plant. Will be the point person on-site for questions from the plant team.
Prepare weekly and month end reporting

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field
Prefer two (2) years of experience performing reporting, analysis, and financial modeling in a manufacturing organization. Any experience working in a manufacturing plant is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to create and leverage analytic, forecasting, and modeling tools
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and with non-financial functional leaders
Proficiency with IQMS or similar ERP systems is preferred. If not, must demonstrate proven ability & willingness to learn new software/systems.
Excel experience is required - Proficiency with Pivot tables and Vlookups is preferred, but we are willing to teach if you come in with comfortable Excel knowledge
Ability to work longer hours as needed at times such as during month-end
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel will be minimal (less than 10%).
