Financial Analyst

Job Description Job Description Position Title: Financial Analyst Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities Assists VP of Finance with preparation of budgets, and projections and analyzes and reports relevant financial information.

Administers payroll, issues vendor payments, and maintains internal controls for costs and company expenditures. Financial Analyst Job Duties · Administer weekly and bi-weekly payroll · Meet regularly with the VP of Finance to determine accounts payable run for the week and to develop longer term payments schedules for all vendors · Provide financial updates to VP of Finance by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points · Use the financials to analyze results, monitor variances, and identify trends that will help to develop and support financial and operational strategies · Assist in preparation of annual Holding Company budget and monthly re-projections · Guide cost analysis process through reporting and analysis · Maintain internal control safeguards for costs and actual expenditures · Collect requested items from CPA for yearly tax return and compilation · Develop best practices for customer collections utilizing ERP system, update customer contact information in the system, and place holds on accounts as needed · Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan to collect it in installments · Performs other duties as assigned Reporting and Supervisory Relationship(s): Direct reporting relationship to: VP of Finance
