Position Overview:

As a Financial Analyst supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategic Growth and Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial analysis and strategic initiatives that shape our company's growth trajectory. This role requires a blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to support decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop complex financial models to evaluate strategic opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, and market expansion initiatives. Analyze financial data to provide insights into potential growth opportunities and risks.

2.Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with the SVP of Strategic Growth to develop and refine long-term strategic plans. Provide financial insights and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making and prioritize initiatives that align with corporate objectives.

3.Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the effectiveness of growth strategies. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and proactively recommend adjustments to enhance performance.

4.Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of potential investments, including ROI calculations, risk assessments, and scenario analysis. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support investment decisions.

5.Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and identify opportunities for growth. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on market analysis.

6.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments, including Finance, Operations, and Business Development, to gather data, align strategies, and implement initiatives that drive growth and maximize shareholder value.

7.Ad-Hoc Projects: Lead or support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the SVP of Strategic Growth, providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to address business challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, consulting, or related roles.

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial analysis.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial software and tools preferred.
