JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

This role is primarily responsible for invoicing and collecting Construction Allowance and Recovery monies from landlords, tracks Franchise Partner Spend, and processes Store Construction and Repair Invoices. You will provide periodic reports to business partners on forecasts, budget and support the Store Development team in performing day to day responsibilities in a number of our store lifecycle systems.

  • Provide Financial support and work closely with the R&M team by tracking and processing capital and expense invoices, assist with asset write-offs and accelerations and complete reporting and analyzation of repairs & maintenance spend across the fleet.

  • Track approved real estate deals and their requirements for collecting Construction Allowances and recoveries from landlords

  • Invoice and communicate with landlords in accordance with lease, including assembling required documentation to support payment of construction allowance including Coding and processing payments for deposit

  • Open, reconcile and report on Capital Work orders working closely with the Construction and Repairs & Maintenance teams

  • Perform month-end accounting close duties including journal entries, expense accruals, and collect and submit financial input for monthly forecast

  • Field vendor payment inquiries and handle project reconciliation. Work with Vendors, AP and Tax department to resolve invoice issues

  • Prepare download files to accounting department and Tax departments

  • Maintain Dead Deal process including assembling required documentation, securing appropriate approvals, and issuing reports to track dead deal progress

  • Participates in the organization's overall Sarbanes Oxley compliance initiatives

  • Produce timely and accurate analytical, forecast and financial budgeting reports

  • Provide ad hoc analysis as required

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have a good understanding and application of financial analysis concepts

  • Business analysis skills with the ability to see implications and provide solutions and recommendations a plus

  • Demonstrated organization skills. Adept at managing multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced experience using Excel.

  • Experience in lease and store construction terminology (preferred but not required)
