Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support team of Financial Analysts

• Assist in design, development, and production of reports: P&L, Expenses, Losses, Premium/Commission/Earnings, Budget/Forecast, T&E, Expense accounting, and Ad-Hoc reporting

• Support multiple profit centers financial reporting of the following: Production, Budgeting, Forecasting, Quarter-Close, and Expense Analysis

• Communicate financial results in a clear and concise manner to Assistant Controller & Profit Center Management

• Analyze and challenge gross & ceded reinsurance financials for accuracy

• Monitor and assist in Concur T&E processing

• Analyze GOE and Headcount

• Work with cross-functional departments Underwriting/Claims/Reinsurance/IT/HR/etc. to drive issue resolution

Requirements:

• College graduate degree in Finance/Accounting with at least 3-5 years' of experience

• Experience working in insurance finance/accounting

• Experience with general ledger accounting

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and accounting skills

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills

• Strong excel/access skills

• Dynamic personality with strong multi-task skills
