Financial Analyst - Sr

Job Title : Sr. Financial Analyst

Location : Richmond/Mc Lean, VA (Hybrid Role)

Employment Type : Contract.

Pay Rate : $37/hr on W2

General Responsibilities:

• Validate the accuracy of Basel III Endgame calculations through the creation and execution of detailed test cases

• Map data elements from source systems to capital calculator application

• Run queries and analytics on cloud based data

• Work with Tech developers to validate changes and enhancements to data transformations

• Perform user acceptance testing on developed solutions

• Perform variance analysis using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Databricks

• Maintain complete documentation of testing efforts

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience

• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry

• Experience in analysis

• Experience querying and analyzing data with SQL and/or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering

• Experience with Regulatory Capital reporting

• Experience in business intelligence tools in a cloud computing environment

Pay Range: $XXX - $XXX The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
