As a Financial Analyst, you'll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Working with a diverse team, you'll be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control.

About the team

This team provides finance support to the Global Merchant Product group, which is responsible for driving incremental growth for Worldpay while ushering in the next generation of payment technologies. This finance team provides financial planning, revenue/expense analysis, business case assistance, and deal support to its business partners. In addition, our team interacts with corporate finance and the various lines of business to ensure alignment on the financial impacts of Product activities.

About the Role:

As a Financial Analyst, you'll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Working with a diverse team, you'll be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control.

What you will be doing:

  • Gathering, analyzing, preparing, and summarizing recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.

  • Meeting with stakeholders to discuss and establish timelines and methodologies for completing budgets.

  • Researching and compiling data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.

  • Performing economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.

  • Preparing reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses, and evaluation of any discrepancies.

What you will need:

  • 5+ years as Financial Analyst

  • Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures, and standards

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools

  • Analytical and statistical examination skills

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met

  • Ability to build end-to-end business cases around complex investment opportunities

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred

Added bonus if you have:

  • Product finance for key enterprise initiatives including business case development and ongoing oversight

  • Gather data and build reports that help identify new product opportunities within fintech and payments markets

  • Provide finance expertise to an array of new dynamic product investment opportunities and challenges

  • Analyse business trends to support product management decisions

  • Assist product leaders in understanding organization spending to ensure financial discipline

  • Develop and track KPIs for global product organization including new product contribution
