Kelly Services is seeking a Financial Analyst (Senior Accountant) for our client that provides commercial data, analytics and insights for business located in Center Valley, PA.
Job Title: Financial Analyst (Senior Accountant)
Location: Center Valley, PA
Length: 6 months
Start Date: October 2018
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am 5pm
Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience
Responsible for general ledger close including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare monthly journal entries related to operating expenses
Accruals based on system reports, vendor run rates, contracts, invoices, etc.
Reclasses for incorrectly posted items
Recurring entries to waterfall prepaid expenses
Work closely with FP&A Finance Partners in designated segments of the business to ensure complete and accurate recording of expense activities for each month end close
Post journal entries to the ledger in accordance with GAAP
Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist with audit questions of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Raise charges in Company's intercompany billing system for activities with sister and partner entities
Assist with preparation of quarterly balance sheet flux analysis
Working on ad hoc requests, researching financial questions, and special projects as needed
Bachelors Degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA a plus)
5-7 years of accounting experience
Strong PC skills
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Must be highly proficient in excel; able to build and maintain files/schedules/analysis
Experience with Oracle financials, Business Objects, and Concur helpful
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Detail oriented; able to clearly document and support journal entries, analysis and reconciliations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to team and communicate; able to communicate in various mediums (phone, skype, email) to perform tasks with employees based in other locations
Ability to sit at a desk, speak and operate telephone and/or computer for long periods of time
Ability to handle pressure, stressful conditions, manage time and prioritize workload, and adhere to deadlines
Team player with strong ethics and high standard of confidentiality and integrity.
