In the role of financial analyst, you will Provide qualitative and quantitative financial analysis to internal and external users. Responsible for developing financial models, conducting analysis to support corporate strategic initiatives, enhance internal processes, and evaluate performance. Prepare long-range projection, monthly forecast, dynamic analytics, and annual company-wide budget.
Coordinate the maintenance of General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records.
Experience with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business model.
Possess an understanding of product costing and how to maintain standard costs.
Demonstrate a commitment to achieving continuous improvement and total quality in the performance of all assigned duties and around the business.
Provide financial analysis and assistance to the Plant Controller through an in-depth understanding of company accounting policies and practices and business operations. Provide information and assistance to other departments within the organization regarding these financials. Assume role of trainer in the financial matters, policies, and procedures within the organization.
Participates and assists in internal audits.
Support monthly closing, the forecasting process and the annual planning process. Lead and perform special projects as needed.
Support accounting department with training and leadership.
Create and maintain documentation of systems, processes, and procedures used in daily standard work.
Participate and assist in annual physical inventory ensuring compliance with corporate procedures and accuracy of physical count.
Recommend and implement ways of improving the plant operation and financial performance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields from an accredited institution.
3 years of professional working experience.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities often with demanding time constraints.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to motivate and help direct the organization; exhibits managerial courage in defending a position and handling conflict.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities to achieve clear alignment between plant and region/division.
High level of proficiency using computers and related software in performing tasks specifically setting up spreadsheets formulas, linking spreadsheets, developing graphs.
In-depth understanding of information systems, SAP experience preferred.
Sound working knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements.
Intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability, working with cross function expertise.
5 years of working experience in a manufacturing setting.
Master's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
Sitting 70% / Standing 20% / Walking & lifting 10%
The work environment is an office setting with moderate office noise. This position sits and performs computer work for extended periods.
