Candidates with a background in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management are encouraged to apply for this business partner role for an innovative team. Your responsibilities

  • Complete and direct forecasting reports

  • Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed

  • Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support

  • Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

  • The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information

  • Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources

  • Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks

  • Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution

  • Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

  • Credit collections experience required

  • Commercial credit experience

  • Proficiency in credit approvals

  • Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience a plus)

  • Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended

  • Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

  • Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

Assists in timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation close processes using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for disclosures required for external reporting and in compliance with US GAAP/SEC reporting requirements2. Assists with the coordination and oversight of the close and consolidation process3. Maintains support and completes month-end data integrity checks, journal entries, and core account reconciliations. 4. Ensures the completeness and accuracy of all consolidation related data5. Presents the Balance Sheet Causal to Corporate Accounting and Finance Teams6. Assists business units with monthly close questions and supplemental data collections7. Assists Corporate with late journal entries and ad-hoc data analysis requests8. Performs financial analysis with various degrees of complexity including depreciation, working capital, investments and financial and expense performance comparison9. Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and company goals.
