The Financial Analyst is responsible for the accounting and monthly financial reporting for a key Joint Venture of St. Luke's University Health Network. This analyst position is also responsible for the recording and maintenance of the balance sheet reconciliations, various expense analyses, and a chart package. This position also prepares the operating budget, supports the O/P Rehab service line, and other special projects as assigned.



  • Coordinate monthly financial statements for a joint venture of SLUHN.

  • Coordinate monthly financial statements for a joint venture of SLUHN.

  • Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and resulting financial statements for a joint venture of SLUHN.

  • Utilize various information systems to develop analysis reporting.

  • Responsible for the accurate recording of various expense and/or balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Maintain updated and accurate fixed asset and loan amortization schedules.

  • Responsible for obtaining, reviewing and reconciling monthly billing reports.

  • Prepares and updates detailed PowerPoint graph analyses to support the financial statement package.

  • Responsible for managing cash inflows and outflows.

  • Assist in development of accounting policies and procedures.

  • Prepares monthly calculation for contractual service fees.

  • Prepare revenue reconciliations and units/visit analyses for O/P Reb service line.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information.

  • Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.

  • Demonstrates/models the Network's Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external).

  • Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety.

  • Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes and practices.

  • Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.


  • Assists in budgeting process for this joint venture.

  • Other related duties as assigned

VIEW JOBS 8/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-05T00:00 Job Description and Qualifications POSITION SUMMARY The GEMTE Senior Financial Analyst role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to and experience in key niche businesses and activities in Air Products. GEMTE includes our world leading LNG heat exchanger manufacturing business, the world leader in helium transportation and storage in Gardner Cryogenics, our rapidly growing Global Engineering and Manufacturing organization, and our newly acquired Rotoflow equipment and services business. This person will fill a broad-based role reporting directly to the Segment Controller, and responsibilities will include cost analysis, acquisition valuation, M&A integration, financial planning and reporting, ad hoc analysis, and strategic decision making. Specifically: * Growth Investments: the analyst will assist with rapid growth of our Rotoflow and Gardner equipment business to include oversight and analysis of our newly constructed service center in Houston, our service center in construction in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and our equipment manufacturing expansion project in Alburtis, Pennsylvania. The analyst will partner closely with the General Manager to understand costs, pricing and other trends to growth the business from its base of $50 million today to $300 million in 5 years. * Financial Planning and Analysis: the analyst will assist with the monthly financial results and annual operating plan processes across the GEMTE organization to include LNG, Global Engineering and Manufacturing, as well as Gardner Cryogenics and Rotoflow. The analysist will use SAP, Analysis, and other tools to develop profitability, cost absorption and other key reports that provide insight into business performance. * Mergers and Acquisitions: The analyst be working closely with the M&A team, sponsoring business partners, and the Controller to: (1) value U.S. and China based acquisition opportunities currently in flight and (2) plan and execute M&A integration opportunities for deals in the sign-to-close period or already closed and in integration phase. In this capacity, the analyst will work closely with and lead other finance departments – accounting, audit, SBS, tax etc.. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES * Work independently to understand cost and profit trends in our equipment businesses, to include Prism Membranes, Gardner, Rotoflow, and our LNG businesses * Develop reports and ad hoc analysis to help understand trends and performance in the GEMTE businesses * Manage due diligence and valuation for 2-4 M&A opportuntiies occurring in parallel using multiple valuation techniques.
