About this Position

The Financial Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally throughout Primerica to help develop and execute budgeting and analysis of the company's financial results.

This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite in the Duluth, Georgia office and remotely multiple days each week.

The estimated salary range for this role is: $80K - $90K

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Support areas in the company with their expense analysis and other ad hoc financial projects. Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, budgeting, and forecasting of our ancillary C&O product earnings. Analyst will support the financial group with the public reporting of financial documents.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete monthly, quarterly, and as needed analysis of revenue and expense variances relative to prior period and budgeted results. Justify results ensuring proper treatment of accounting and SOX compliance. Communicate findings to management.

• Facilitate with managers throughout the company the creation of a detailed expenses budget. Provide ongoing support to those departments on understanding their expenses and how they emerge in our financial results. Gain knowledge and understanding of current events within those areas in the company, and matriculate that information within financial group to ensure transparency of future expense trends and accurate earnings forecasts.

• Create journal entries related to expense accruals, account reclasses, or expense allocations. Construct monthly account reconciliations. Responsible for assisting the coordinator in modification and maintenance of expense allocations within our accounting system.

• Working with others to maintain preparer/reviewer governance of critical documents; prepare, maintain, or review the financial supplement file and/or related SOX controls.

• Responsible for updating and maintaining accurate procedures. Will develop and maintain complex queries of financial data from within the accounting system in order to facilitate efficiencies within Finance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management or equivalent work experience

• 6 plus years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, month end close cycle

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet modeling, and financial query tools

• Prior experience with Workday Financials preferred
