PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Actively participates in the accurate planning, reporting and analysis functions. This position will also be utilized to adequately fulfill ad hoc requests from various internal and external sources to support decision-making. This includes providing direct input and support to directors, department heads, and line personnel in assigned area.

Prepare the month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports, including: reporting packages (Executives, Internal, other business units), monthly financial close package, monthly scorecard and financial performance indicators, quarterly management meeting presentation, Board of Directors meeting presentation, ensuring that capital and EBIT forecasts are properly reflected in planning tools. And working with financial system team to mitigate/resolve forecasting and planning concerns

Assist in preparation of various reports and data requests and answers ad-hoc requests for internal and external reporting customers. Routinely communicate actual performance compared to budget/plan/goals

Functioning as a member of Exelon finance Team with responsibilities for ensuring a financial perspective is brought to daily operations, proper classification (O&M vs Capital) and treatment is followed, and compliance with all managerial policies.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum:

Preferred:
4-year degree in financial related field and 2 to 5 years relevant experience.

MBA/CPA

Analytical understanding of finance and accounting

Effective written skills

Thorough computer base analytical skills (Microsoft Office)

Job Description: The Senior Director of Financial & Procurement Systems will be providing overall leadership and strategic direction of the Company's cloud-based ERP system and the suite of applications that connect to it. This role will be responsible for the management and execution of the ERP roadmap and will oversee the continued expansion and use of IQVIA's financial applications throughout the organization. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders in Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Logistics and other teams on the applications strategy and in building out key capabilities and services to support these departments. A key part of this role is ensuring cloud compliance best practice is followed and audit requirements are met as well as data integrity. Responsibilities: * Own all aspects of our financial system including speed optimization, data integrity, new feature identification, financial reporting, user security, controls, user support, regular user training, third-party and custom integrations. * Manage a team of business analysts, developers, and system admins responsible for delivering features and functionality in our Financial & Procurement Systems. * Execute the strategic roadmap and actively lead the demand management process for finance-related system needs * Implement a change management plan and policies that adhere to cloud compliance best practice * Identify opportunities and implement solutions that automate the financial close * Provide oversight to support tickets and provide reporting on resolution status * Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and Operations to maintain and continually enhance business systems to meet ever-changing business requirements. * Focus on providing key business analytics to help drive business decision making * Maintain a documentation archive of system business processes changes, role-based security, and customizations. * Business case and Functional / technical design specifications for new development items * Inspire, motivate and foster a high performing inclusive team. Education, Experience & Skills: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems * Comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance business processes including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report. * Extensive knowledge of both US. and International accounting standards, internal controls best practice, SOX compliance a plus * Experience with process automation through automated solutions. * Demonstrated prior leadership in a middle or large global company (100MM+ revenue); public company experience a plus; high-growth company experience a plus * Minimum of 8 years of experience implementing or supporting financial systems; Acumatica experience preferred or experience across a variety of financial systems. * Strong working knowledge of system development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and ability bridge different methodologies as needed. * Demonstrated project management expertise, managing internal resources and recruiting additional resources to meet project deadlines. * Able to quickly learn new technologies as they become prevalent and widely implemented including decision making, time management, and task prioritization * Comfortable with ambiguity and can make quality decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Experience working with an onshore/offshore model Join Us Making a positive impact on human health takes insight, curiosity, and intellectual courage.
