Financial Analyst (Onsite)

Join our client, a leading national chain of neighborhood retail stores that boasts unique quality products and the best customer service in the industry as an IT Financial Analyst, a key role supporting the company’s dynamic IT team. At the intersection of finance and technology, this role offers a unique opportunity to be a key player in processing purchase orders, invoices, telecom billing analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis project modeling.

Location: Onsite - San Gabriel Valley area This is a 6-month contract role, with the possibility for conversion to FTE. It is expected to pay about 40-45/hr plus benefits What You Will Do: •Verify all IT transactions follow generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) •Process purchase orders, invoices, and analyze telecom billing •Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, trending, and project modeling •Assemble and summarize data for financial status and risk reports •Develop executive-level dashboard reporting for strategic decisions •Support IT procurement activities and verify timely invoice processing •Collaborate with IT teams to reconcile project statuses and financials •Evaluate and improve internal controls and forecasting methods What Gets You The Job: •Minimum 5 years of accounting experience •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred •Must have strong GAAP experience •Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions) •Experience with SAP Ariba, Apptio, Jira, or similar tools is advantageous •Strong analytical skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving •Knowledge of accounting policies and standards •Experience with IT equipment procurement, inventory controls, and telecom billing management is a plus Irvine Technology Corporation (ITC) is a leading provider of technology and staffing solutions for IT, Security, Engineering, and Interactive Design disciplines servicing startups to enterprise clients, nationally.
