Job Summary

As a Sr Financial Analyst supporting the Customer Support organization, you will play an essential role in providing financial analysis and guidance to NetApp Customer Support leadership. You will be responsible for collaborating with the business on key financial decisions, annual budgeting and investment requests, monthly forecasts, headcount & expense tracking and quarterly business reviews.

Essential Functions

  • Work with cross-functional groups to provide financial support including:

  • Forecasting

  • Budgeting

  • Variance analysis

  • Financial Modeling

  • Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews

  • Management Reporting

  • Organization and Cost Center Structure

  • Participate in Close Cycle prepare and post JEs for areas of responsibility

  • Collaborate with business partners to identify budget opportunity or risk and model financial scenarios

  • Identify process improvements and efficiencies in financial processes

  • Communciate across multiple levels of the organization


  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; expert Microsoft Excel required, Microsoft Access a plus

  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion and Smartview a plus

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into action; experience with Tableau a plus

  • Ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams

  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas

  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities


Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 4 years and a Master's degree

VIEW JOBS 7/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-11T00:00 Job Description The incumbent is responsible for maintaining/monitoring the daily manufacturing schedule and providing input to production scenarios. Daily collaboration with manufacturing, warehouse operations, Validation, Maintenance and Instrumentation & Controls teams to resolve issues, scheduling conflicts and delivery requirements. He/She holds meetings to incorporate cross-functional activities into the production schedule to ensure minimal downtime within the Parenteral Facility. Additionally, the incumbent has a working knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP ERP systems, PLM, Trackwise and understanding of manufacturing filling operations. Responsible for the creation/reconciliation of production batches, support the E-Issuance documentation process and participation in tech transfer meetings. 1. Supports overseeing activities related to the development of the RTP Drug Product Manufacturing Schedule from both a long-range planning and daily scheduling perspective. Responsible for tactical day-to-day scheduling and product changeover that meets the production demand plan. Interacts with manufacturing personnel to determine current completion state of production operation activities and to clarify any schedule updates/changes. Supports facility project schedules for shutdown work, technical transfers, equipment modifications, commissioning, validation, change-over, associated documentation, training, and routine/non-routine facilities maintenance activities. 2. Develops and updates Production Planning models for both clinical and commercial programs using OMP+ schedule tool. Additionally, maintain production model datasheets based on process or equipment changes. 3. Generate production plan attainment metrics (weekly & monthly) for the Tier Level meetings; Entering/Tracking of schedule issues and missed plan attainment using Devonway. 4. Supports tech transfers and the communication of changes to the planned batches. Creation of batches in Oracle, including material reservations and generating pick tasks for warehouse operations. Assist with trouble-shooting reconciliation errors and material returns process. Qualifications Minimum 2 year of relevant experience and/or training in a GMP regulated industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of best practices in a defined area of expertise. Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, scheduling and inventory control practices. Possess excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills, abilities to manage complexity and manage multiple priorities, must be team oriented, possesses analytical skills to troubleshoot conflicts. Ability to influence without authority, pro-actively builds healthy working relationships between their department and other groups. OMP+ software experience or other ERP system experience strongly preferred Education Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related business/science/technical field or High School Diploma with relevant years of experience and associate applications, possesses general knowledge of other operational areas such as Manufacturing, QC/QA, Warehouse/Dispensary, Mfg Sciences and Procurement.
