Researches and provides financial analyses to assess the impact of various corporate projects and transactions.


  • Conducts analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investments.Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends.

  • Completes detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports for management and recommends action or change for assigned projects.

  • Provides assistance to departments in the formulation of their budgets. Reviews departmental actual expenses versus budget. Issues monthly variance statements.

  • Assists in the development of business policies and performance measures.

  • Conducts special financial and business related studies as requested.

  • Responsible for all aspects of complex projects that are broad in nature.

  • Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.


  • Typically has a degree in finance with two to four years of professional experience.

  • Must have expert level abilities in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.

  • Must possess strong analytical skills.

  • Must be curious, creative and inquisitive.

  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and strong interpersonal skills.

Job Description Position Summary: As part of the centralized resort finance segment, provides financial support and analysis primarily to the West Region (both Property & Owner Associations) with regards to the annual budget, monthly forecast, cash flow, operational and financial business segment variance/trend/benchmarking and ad hoc analyses. Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to: annual budget development, month-end reporting & forecasting, operational/financial metric/trend/variance/benchmark analyses and ad hoc analysis of the resort business segment. The ability to work with detail financial/operational data, interpret the information, form results and develop presentations suitable to differing audiences is critical for this role. Interactions with multiple departments including property and corporate finance, facilities, legal, accounting and inventory planning. Strong technical skills are required that utilize Microsoft product suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as familiarity with General Ledger system (PeopleSoft) and other report writer/analysis tools. Strong oral and written communication skills required. The successful candidate must possess the proven ability to be a self-starter, multi-task and prioritize projects while also having a strong business acumen (finance & accounting experience).
