Financial Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions

Position Background
The successful candidate will allocate his/her time in the following critical areas:
Development and ownership of in-depth financial modeling as an integral part of the acquisition diligence efforts
Work closely with Sr Director of Finance M&A and Business Development team on all acquisitions including the financial modeling of target acquisitions and pro forma development of new business opportunities (M&A and Strategic Partnerships)
Assist in the process of developing the deal specific financial model, in conjunction with all other functional leaders, and the seller where appropriate
Support financial and operational due diligence analyses of target companies including coordination across various internal functional stakeholders on functional due diligence activities
Work closely with outside professional advisor's due diligence activities (e.g. Quality of Earnings) to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
Post-acquisition, develop and optimize financial models to assess performance against under-written assumptions
Provide regular reporting and updates on Acquisition Portfolio performance
Assisting with preparation of monthly Board reports and quarterly Board presentations
The following skills are critical for the successful candidate:
2-4 years of experience as Investment Banking, Private Equity as a Financial Analyst or similar type of role
Minimum BS/BA in a business related field(marketing/finance/operations) MBA preferred though not required
A bright critical thinker who can pick concepts up quickly
High efficiency in excel-based financial modeling
High interest in analyzing trends in the business and being able to successfully articulate those trends in a meaningful and clear fashion
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experienced with business intelligence tools, analytics and KPI's
Attention to detail
Healthcare experience is a "nice to have" but not critical
Maturity and people skills to interact effectively with senior management, the company's private equity firm, and lenders
The ability to work independently when needed
The ability to work across several functions as a collaborative team player

Ivy Rehab provides a salary range to comply with the New York Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and organizational need.
