About the Program AdaptHealth has an exciting new opportunity for recent and ambitious graduates that are driven and hungry for a career at an engaging and fast-growing organization. Our Finance & Accounting Leadership Development Program is an 18-month rotational program designed to create future finance and accounting leaders through a variety of assignments designed to advance leadership and grow technical skills. The program is a one-year immersive boot camp of finance and accounting related projects in a public company setting. Be prepared to work on challenging and highly visible initiatives to add value to our organization and support your career growth towards a leadership position in Finance and Accounting. Successful completion of the program will result in a competitive offer for a full-time role which tracks to continued career advancement. You'll get to work out of the "Office of the CFO" and as part of the Strategic Finance organization. Our Sr. Finance Leadership Team will provide mentoring and exposure to a variety of financial specialties. You'll be part of a fun and energetic team as well as a gratifying mission within the healthcare industry. Please note - the targeted start date for this program will be on or around July 7, 2025. AdaptHealth does not offer/provide sponsorship for this role/program, at this time. Accounting Leadership Track Will gain exposure to a wide variety of accounting assignments across areas including Operational Accounting, SEC Reporting, Accounts Payable, Tax, etc. and will gain highly valuable skills using Oracle ERP Possible Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in month-end and quarter-end close activities

  • Operational accounting process improvement initiatives

  • Coordinating across Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and Operations Finance

  • Documenting and supporting continuous improvement of accounting processes Will provide flexible hours for individuals studying for the CPA:

  • AdaptHealth encourages participants to study for the CPA exam and will reimburse applicable exam related expenses as deemed appropriate by AdaptHealth leadership

  • AdaptHealth employees that currently hold CPAs will oversee and support the efforts of candidates that attempt to obtain the license

  • Accounting degree required Finance Leadership Track Will gain exposure to a wide variety of Finance assignments across areas including Finance and business operations process improvement, Strategic financial analysis, financial systems strategy, etc., and will gain highly valuable skills using Oracle ERP Possible Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Business process mapping and data analysis

  • Root cause analysis / diagnosis

  • Formulate enhanced future state business and finance processes

  • Support M&A integration processes

  • Financial systems automation and improvement initiatives (e.g., Oracle ERP and EPM)

  • AdaptHealth encourages participants to study for the CFA and Six Sigma Blackbelt certifications, and will reimburse applicable exam related expenses as deemed appropriate by AdaptHealth leadership

  • AdaptHealth employees that currently hold CFA Charters and Six Sigma Blackbelts will oversee and sponsor the efforts of candidates who attempt to obtain these certifications

  • Business or other quantitative focused degree preferred Requirements: Skills & Requirements

  • Experience Required: Recent college graduate or 1-2 years of professional experience

  • Solid track record of academic and extracurricular success

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Can communicate effectively both in written and oral form

  • An individual who is driven and can follow tasks in an efficient manner
