We are seeking a Business/Financial Analyst with a great work ethic and high attention to detail who is highly motivated to learn new skills and seeks a long-term position to help us manage the financial operations within Space Explorations Sector. You will be joining a small team of business professionals that strive to provide exceptional business operations support to SES Executive Management.
As a Business/Financial Analyst...
Your primary responsibility will be to provide financial operations support to the SES Executive Management including management of Overhead/Program Development budgets, Staffing Review, quarterly Director's Office Review (DOR), and various ad-hoc projects.
SES Overhead Budget: Create fiscal year baselines, track/update monthly actuals & plans, publish monthly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) status for all groups, maintain the lien list for reserve allocations, manage the fiscal year-end budget targets, present overhead status at various sector meetings, and serve as the main POC for all aspects related to Overhead.
Funding Review: Generate and analyze funding review templates, run analysis against the DSY (Direct Staff Year) forecast, and present to senior management.
Staffing Review: Compile & analyze quarterly staff planning submissions from SES groups to ensure that the plans are in line with Program requirements and present to senior management.
Director's Office Review: Obtain, review, and analyze SES financial data and assemble quarterly DOR packages for Accounting & Finance.
PDF: Develop the annual budgets based on Front Office allocation to the Mission Areas, update the cost tracking templates used to support management reviews, collaborate with IRAD PI's to build and updated IRAD spend plans
Serve as the main POC for Laboratory policies on Indirect allowable charges and provide guidance to all levels of staff.

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business and have 2 years of relevant experience in the financial field.
Are a highly-motivated self-starter, capable of independent operations and exceptional attention to detail.
Possess Excellent MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint proficiency.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills and have Executive presentation experience.
Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
Are able to obtain a Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
