Sr. Commissions Analyst


The Sales Compensation Analyst position administers the accurate calculation and timely payment of monthly sales commissions and incentive bonuses for the Ivanti sales team in accordance with documented compensation plans.

The position also calculates and submits monthly commission accruals and prepares and presents quarterly compensation plan performance to the Executive Management Team.


  • Develop a strong understanding of the Company's sales compensation programs, processes and the financial systems utilized to calculate and process commission and incentive payments.

  • Calculate accurate monthly commission accruals and submit accrual file by the published deadline.

  • Administer the monthly commission process by managing day to day commission activities. Ensure accurate and timely payouts in accordance with the terms of the sales commission plans. Coordinate monthly commission payment processing with the Payroll Team. Ensure that Sales Compensation processes are efficient and accurate based on Sales Compensation plans, as written, and in line with established company principles and policies.

  • Test and validate commission calculations and system enhancements to ensure accuracy of commission payments. Validate accuracy of commission dashboards and commissions reports. Maintain and timely publish commission dashboards to provide Sales and Sales Management with visibility of compensation.

  • Research and respond to commission questions and issues accurately and timely.

  • Develop effective working relationships within the Commission Team and across the Finance and the Sales Operations organizations. Be a lead resource for the entire sales organization on commission policy and processes. Participate in the training of sales team members, management, and others on commissions dashboard and other commission topics.

  • Prepare, and provide analysis for, reports and schedules distributed in a quarterly meeting with the Compensation Committee and Executive Team.

  • Work as a part of the Project Team for incentive compensation system implementations and new fiscal year commission system rule updates. Aid in technical enhancements.

  • Safeguard the information and information systems that are used in the execution of duties. Know and perform duties in accordance with Ivanti policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Must be able to adapt to occasional flexible work schedule due to necessary deadlines, commitments, and reporting requirements.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resource Management

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formula creation, linking, pivot tables, V look-up, etc.)

  • 2-3 years of experience working with an automated sales commission system. Experience working with Callidus Cloud incentive management system is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of incentive compensation strategies and programs.

Required Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent. * Working college credentials. * 2 years of prior collection experience utilizing a Dialer. * Working knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to the collection of accounts. * Excellent follow through abilities to meet daily productivity targets. * Excellent customer service skills exhibiting good oral and written communication skills. * Moderate computer skills (internet, email, MS Office) obtained from prior work experience. Desired Qualifications: * 4-year college degree. Physical Requirements: * See, read, and/or operate computers, telephones, office equipment, documents, labels, including manipulating paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. * Remain sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment. * Frequent interactions with associates, patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require associate to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. * Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information banding patients, etc. * Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items (over 50 lbs.).
