  • The Financial Analyst IV will perform analyses of financial statements, cost data, operating and project reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Makes initial assessments and recommendations as to areas requiring further review by Auditors.

  • Reviews and analyzes the records of financial institutions, such as savings and loan associations, including operating and investment records, and inspection of properties, to make initial identification of areas requiring further analysis.

  • Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs;

  • Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff;

  • Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;

  • Consults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Master's degree or PhD in a related labor category field from an accredited college, university, school or educational institution that has been accredited by accrediting bodies or organizations recognized by the US Department of Education.

  • Ability to provide favorable credit history

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to work effectively in an extremely pressured environment.

  • Must have and use excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 2010 or newer programs.

SEC Financial Reporting is a sub-group within Financial Reporting responsible for preparing the firm's quarterly and annual SEC filings (i.e.: 10-Q, 10-K). The team interfaces with global Product Controllers, Legal Entity Controllers (LECs), Funding Controllers, Accounting Policy, Legal and other constituents in order to ensure that reporting requirements are satisfied. In addition, the team reports on peer firm's quarterly results, key financial metrics and other disclosures. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Principal Responsibilities: The Vice President will have a leadership role within the SEC Financial Reporting team and will have the joint responsibility for supervising the junior team members, collaborating with the management team in determining priorities, and establishing the appropriate allocation of responsibilities among team members. The individual's areas of responsibility will include managing the preparation of the firm's quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, footnotes, XBRL filings, financial statement review packages and other relevant information, as well as evaluating and reporting on peer firm's quarterly results, key financial metrics and other disclosures. The individual will manage the relationship with senior personnel within LECs, Product Controllers, Management Reporting, Accounting Policy and other internal departments. The individual will also be responsible for providing guidance to LECs and Product Controllers on quarter end processes. The individual will be involved in projects with various departments such as working with Investor Relations to provide input on presentations, implementing procedures to comply with new FASB pronouncements, updating policies and procedures, system integrations, and proposing improvements and efficiencies to existing reporting processes. The individual will also identify development areas and propose solutions aimed at improving the process by which information is collected, analyzed, and controlled.
