  • The Financial Analyst IV will perform analyses of financial statements, cost data, operating and project reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Makes initial assessments and recommendations as to areas requiring further review by Auditors.

  • Reviews and analyzes the records of financial institutions, such as savings and loan associations, including operating and investment records, and inspection of properties, to make initial identification of areas requiring further analysis.

  • Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs;

  • Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff;

  • Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;

  • Consults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a related labor category field from an accredited college, university, school or educational institution that has been accredited by accrediting bodies or organizations recognized by the US Department of Education.

  • Ability to provide favorable credit history

  • Must be able to work effectively in an extremely pressured environment.

  • Must have and use excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 2010 or newer programs.

Department Summary: The UCLA Asset Management Department provides full-service property management for University-owned high-rise office buildings in Westwood (four buildings containing 940,000 SF, occupied by 150 primarily University tenants and generating $37M of revenue), plus limited-service property management to 60 other University-owned properties. Departmental Services: Department employees manage these functions: 1. Operations (day-to-day activities of building management, such as repairs, maintenance, janitorial, security, safety, parking, tenant relations, PCI compliance); 2. Financial management (rent billing and collection, accounting, budgeting, financial transactions, GL management); 3. Leasing and lease administration (preparation of lease documents and tenant correspondence, lease administration in Yardi property management software); 4.
