We are seeking a proactive and innovative Financial Analyst- Innovative Strategy & Capital Fundraising to join our team, focusing on capital fundraising initiatives and incorporating cutting-edge solutions, including AI, to optimize our operations. This role will report to the Vice President of Finance and Acquisitions and will be instrumental in driving forward our mission of providing affordable housing while leveraging financial strategies to maximize impact. This successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments, touching on finance, acquisitions, development, and asset management, to implement innovative solutions across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and streamline capital fundraising efforts, ensuring efficient processes and clear communication.

  • Provide strategic clarity to senior management regarding fundraising opportunities, progress, and future strategies.

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess fundraising potential and evaluate investment opportunities.

  • Manage due diligence processes related to fundraising activities, from data collection to analysis.

  • Engage in strategic discussions with key stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.

  • Prepare and present fundraising proposals and progress reports to senior management and investment committees.

  • Collaborate with Finance and Development teams to integrate fundraising strategies into overall business plans.

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support fundraising initiatives and decision-making.

  • Support quarterly business reviews by providing insights into fundraising performance and market trends.

  • Evaluate potential fundraising opportunities based on market data and forecasts.

  • Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support organizational growth objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, asset management, or affordable housing financing, with familiarity in the LIHTC program.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of non-traditional financing structures is advantageous.

  • Must have strong analytical skills.

  • Experience in real estate transactions beneficial.

  • Proficiency in Excel, with good knowledge of MS Word and Power Point.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment.

  • Ethical, team-oriented, and detail-focused.

  • Familiarity with Costar, a commercial real estate information service.
