The position of Financial Analyst III reports to the Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis and is responsible for producing the underlying work-product used by management to assess the financial performance of the business relative to the marketplace, our peers and the industry in general.

  • Prepares the monthly financial results packages, ensuring proper analysis and interpretation of performance are provided to senior management.

  • Prepares management reports which explain factors driving volume/price results relative to comparative benchmarks (plan, prior periods, etc.).

  • Participates in interim (quarterly) forecast process, including data collection and reporting requirements. Assists with development of the annual budget, including consolidation of all financial and supplementary data.

  • Provide reporting and analytical support for Lehigh Hanson's Canada and South regions.

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of the standard report library for both group level and management reporting.

  • Responsible for the preparation of pricing analysis and other commercial based exercises.

  • Generates/analyzes the monthly production oriented KPI s for submission to Group.

  • Assists in the finalization of capital plan and forecast.

  • Supports executive management team with robust financial analysis as required.

This position will be based at our corporate office in Irving, Texas.   • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance; with MBA preferred.

  • Accounting / Financial Statement close process (5 to 7 Years).

  • Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Recent experience with Essbase, ThinkCell and Tableau is preferred

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and other internal customers

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The Business System Analyst III is responsible for providing analysis and second-tier support for the Digital Direct Loan Origination System.
