Provide support to the acquisition process by working cross functionally with M&A and other Corporate teams. This will include review of business valuations, validation of projected synergies, and measuring performance to the business case for all domestic stand-alone acquisitions.
Provide support to the integration process such as coordinating the set-up of companies in financial reporting systems and providing training to field personnel for how to utilize financial reporting system,
preparation of initial budget and subsequent forecasts, review results and provide variance explanations. Prepare internal financial reporting package that is distributed to executive leadership providing quantitative and qualitative analysis of acquisition results. Responsible for complex and interpretive financial analyses including various productivity and cost analyses. Responsible for operational KPI reporting of acquisition companies.
Strategic planning and profitability reporting for specific corporate function(s) in Finance or a BU.
Provides detailed analytical support for a corporate function or BU to allow the team to make more informed strategic decisions
Consults with other team members to analyze opportunities and alternatives for improving financial performance
Engages in project planning & implementation
Drives the annual budget process for a BU/corporate functions
May oversee the completion of projects or assignments including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.
BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience required (Finance or Accounting preferred).
3-5 years of experience in related field required.
Some supervisory experience preferred
CPA/CFA license preferred
Ability to provide insightful analytics to executive management
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, across corporate functions, and with field personnel
Ability to assimilate broad source data into planning models
Ability to identify variances and trends
Strong knowledge of PC related tools for detailed analysis, technology applications and data utilizations
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to write standard reports that clearly communicates findings and methodologies
