Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Job Description
Cox Communications is hiring a Financial Analyst II. This Financial Analyst II role is critical to ensure excellent client support and achieve our team goals. Your key responsibilities will include financial modeling, conducting financial analysis, creating business cases, and special projects for the Cox Business | Enterprise Growth Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate business performance by developing visualization and reporting tools to ensure the company achieves desired results from key business decisions and initiatives.
Provide consultative services through collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, recommending and facilitating changes to improve processes and resolve questions or problems.
Drive automation and change initiatives; be a continuous learner with a mindset to challenge status quo and continue to facilitate operational efficiencies and process improvements.
Have strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate at most levels of the organization and work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Gather and compile data to conduct in-depth analysis of complex business trends and dynamics, offering recommendations based on the findings. Develop methods to access and manipulate data from company data systems and sources.
Develop and modify financial reports to create advance visualizations to communicate key insights effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.) with 2+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. Finance, Operations, Business, etc.). A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 1+ year of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 6+ years of experience.
Strong knowledge of financial platforms and tools (i.e. Oracle, OneStream, etc.).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial tools.
Attention to detail with the ability to understand concepts and translate that into financials.
Proficient project management skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
