The Financial Analyst II is responsible for the financial analysis of capital spending initiatives and project finances. Working closely with Facilities Design & Construction (FD&C) personnel, serves as liaison between FD&C and Corporate Finance, enabling them to accurately create, report, and analyze project based financial data. Further, the supports analysis related to opportunities, capabilities, and risks.

EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran Responsibilities 1. Act as the finance liaison between the Facilities, Design and Construction (FD&C) team and the capital budget team. Meet with project managers and leaders monthly to ensure project status is updated in eBuilder, and that projected cash flows are updated in Strata.

Assist project managers in determining projected cash flows for purpose of financial reporting and month end accruals. 2. Attend weekly meetings with FD&C team and capital budget team to discuss project delays, issues, changes and ensure any budget adjustments are appropriately approved. Reconcile finance's approved project list with FD&C's project list to ensure resources are working on approved projects only. 3.

Produce monthly financial statements for the SRC Neuroscience Bed Tower Project, which will be utilized for executive project update meetings; as well as any projects as needed. 4. Assist the FD&C team with preparing quarterly spend updates, identifying projects at risk for over/under spend and identify under spend projects for timely reallocation of capital in the given fiscal year. This will be utilized for quarterly updates to the System Capital Oversight Committee. 5.

Usher capital projects through the StrataJazz (Strata) workflow, ensuring budget/cash flow projections are correct in the system before approvals. Confirm approvals by system capital committees, and then create funding releases for all approved capital projects. 6. Create capital activity/project numbers in INFOR and manage all budget change requests. 7.

Provide Strata End User Support by answering questions related to Project/Requisition workflows, hierarchy, etc. Provide Strata training for projects and requisitions as needed. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.

EXPERIENCE Minimum of two years' experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Hospital/Healthcare experience preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to exercise creativity and initiative in making recommendations. Proficient with Microsoft Office including MS Excel. Knowledge of the facilities and construction industry desirable.
