Position Title: Financial Analyst II

Location: Palo Alto, California

Position Responsibilities:

1.Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative economic, financial and other data to support financial planning and operating expense management. 2. Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances through deep dives and metrics, develop action plans, measure and analyze results. 3.

Build financial models for new business concepts and special projects by partnering with business development and product management stakeholders. 4. Prepare various deliverables to support weekly and monthly financial reporting, including insightful financial performance analysis to achieve business goals. 5. Take ownership, identify process improvement opportunities for existing processes, reporting and controls, and drive positive change across the organization. 6.

Lead ad hoc financial analyses requested from key stakeholders 7. Assess financial risk and opportunities of business growth initiatives 8. Oversee month end and quarter end close processes and prepare the related deliverables with analytical commentary and supplemental analysis 9.

Act independently to complete multiple cross-functional projects with complex objectives. 10. Identify, validate, and analyze large sets of data and provide feedback and trends to business stakeholders 11. Telecommuting benefits available

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $95,202/year to $128,800/year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:

A Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Information Systems, or related discipline and 1 year of experience in financial analysis, account analysis, data analysis or related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Information Systems, or related discipline, followed by 3 years of experience in financial analysis, account analysis, data analysis, or related occupation. Experience must include (1) 1 year of experience building and managing financial analysis using advanced excel spreadsheet techniques such as v-lookups and pivot tables. (2) 1 year of experience analyzing business processes. (3) 1 year of experience designing and implementing controls. (4) 1 year of experience in financial reporting. (5) 1 year of experience managing cross-functional financial projects including project design, requirements and implementation #0000
