Under the direction of department leadership, the Financial Analyst I - Financial Compliance is responsible performing analysis and preparing financial reports/dashboards for claims overpayments, refund reconciliation, claims payment information, provider billing trends, audit findings, etc.
Key Responsibilities
1.Utilize data provided by the Financial Analyst II to perform analysis on claims payment data to identify trends/root causes of overpayments, disputes, etc.
2.Create reports/dashboards to support the auditing, accounting, dispute, and recovery teams.
3.Coordinate project request intake, documentation, and triage process.
4.Collaborate with Team Members to understand and document reporting needs ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
5.Demonstrate a commitment to incorporate LEAN principles into daily work.
6.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others throughout the organization.
7.Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the department leadership team.

Education & Experience
One (1) year of relevant experience required
Experience analyzing data and creating dashboards/reports
Experience with SQL a plus
Experience in Managed Care or related industry experience preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
Key Qualifications
Knowledge of the principles and practices of the health care industry and managed care systems a plus.
Data analysis, problem-solving and reporting skills. Moderate knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and writing skills.
Strong problem-solving capability. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects with time-sensitive deadlines.
