Responsibilities

About the role

This role is responsible for performing in-depth analysis of moderate to complex financial information and prepare reports to assist management in making long-term and short-term decisions. Provides overall support to management.

In this role you will:

  • Analyze moderate to complex financial information, including trends and forecasts

  • Prepare reports based on analysis and on historical information

  • Help develop policy and procedures of the department

  • Perform special tasks and analyses as requested by management

  • Keep abreast of current trends in the market and developments in the profession

Qualifications

What makes you a dream candidate?

  • Advanced knowledge of capital markets and financial analysis

  • Advanced knowledge of finance principles

  • Advanced knowledge of treasury functions and overall cash flow of the business

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel

  • Advanced working knowledge of the securitization methodologies

  • Financial forecasting and reporting experience

  • Procedures for compiling financial data

  • Sarbanes-Oxley compliance experience preferred

  • Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting

  • Ability to establish priorities and meet tight deadlines

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook

  • Must be able to analyze and resolve moderate to complex problems

  • Preparing and reporting financial reports

  • Experience using financial and/or accounting tools and information systems

  • Experience working with government agencies (eg, IRS, SEC)preferred

  • Proficient skills in SQL

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Accounting or Finance required
  • 0-2 years in a Financial Analysis role preferred
