Position Summary: The Financial Analyst provides key financial leadership for operating expenses, insurance, & capital projects across Horton. The position will partner with the management team and provide reporting and analysis on operating expenses, financial statements, and management reporting. This person will also be the primary representative for outside insurance brokers and leading the insurance renewal process.

Responsibilities

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

• Provide financial business partnership with management team

• Lead monthly reporting & analysis on operating expenses

• Support financial statements & management reporting

• Recognize operating expense, identify trends and opportunities

• Primary company representative for outside insurance brokers & leading the insurance renewal process

• Partner with leadership team on capital analysis, forecasting, and develop ROA measurement to determine quality of investment

• Champion continuous process improvement and simplification to improve operating processes.

• Leads the annual budgets and financial forecasts for operating expenses

• Ad hoc analysis as requested

• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Financial Analyst Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or accounting.

• 3-5 years of work experience in the field of accounting or finance.

• Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred not required.

• System Experience: Power BI, Adaptive, CRM, Oracle

Must be able to show legal authorization to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided. Relocation allowance may be provided if the individual has all of the necessary qualifications.
