Green Mountain Power is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team to collaborate across the organization to ensure effective application of appropriate professional accounting standards, policies and procedures.

In this role you'll:

  • Complete various billing functions including property damage, third party and miscellaneous billings.

  • Assist in the tariff adjustment during the billing process.

  • Analyze and provide billing information to ensure accurate and timely billings.

  • Gain an understanding of field operations and systems.

  • Interpret and understand billable vs. non-billable as it pertains to tariff and non-tariff billings.

  • Work with insurance Companies, collection agencies, and involved parties to ensure payment for incidents.

  • Complete monthly reporting to ensure we maintain compliance and are within all related guidelines.

  • Assist in other areas of Operational Accounting where needed, specifically cash management and 3rd Party Attachments.

  • Support cash operations by performing deposits and daily closings.

  • Strong aptitude to learn and leverage technology solutions for communication, analysis, and efficient workflows. Excel experience required.

  • Detail focused with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Experience with, and sensitivity to, working with confidential information is critical to this role.
