Support and provide stewardship to our cooperative organization

through monitoring, analysis, and effective communication of a variety of

financial and related topics that enable good decision making and strategic


Major Duties and Responsibilities:
25% Assist in the formulation and execution of Credit Union policies, objectives, and programs for asset liability management,

liquidity, third party reporting, budget, and financial reporting.
25% Maintain compliance, meet reporting requirements, and prepare annual reviews for ALM, Liquidity, and related

20% Prepare, maintain and or create historical and comparative reports. Prepare reports and analysis for ALCO, budget, management and other requests as needed.
10% Perform various product, service, department, branch, and other requested analysis to support decisionmaking.
10% Utilize systems, internal data, and third party resources and collaborate with coworkers and in crossfunctional teams to prepare relevant environmental scans, comparative reports, and other information that promotes smart decisions for our members and adaptive planning for the organization.
10% Performs other job related duties as assigned.

1.To provide first class service and support to members, coworkers, and other partners. 2.To exercise good judgment and decision making by incorporating procedures and policies along with the ability to make exceptions as needed to ensure the building of positive relationships with members, coworkers, and other partners. Able to reason and explain actions and accept accountability.
3.Effectively prepare and communicate comprehensive analysis on historical, current and projected financial,

operating, investments and other environmental trends specific to the economy and our organization. Understand, manage, and report ALM and concentration risk issues including quarterly reports, modeling changes and assumptions, share sensitivity analysis, ratio

analysis, budget/whatif planning, and credit loss accounting standard analysis. Monitor, report, and prepare strategy for our liquidity and investment needs and plans.
4.Recommend changes to improve operations, service, and/or to gain efficiencies. Collaborate with other employees, departments, and third parties on initiatives that support our core values, strategic drivers, and goals. Support continuous improvement and enhanced service.
5.Personal Professional Goals and Objectives

Knowledge and Skills:


One year to three years of similar or related experience.


Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Interpersonal Skills:

Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Other Skills:

  • Critical thinking skills/analyze and organize qualitative and quantitative information in meaningful manner.

  • Can work independently and also demonstrated ability to collaborate with others.

  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Understanding of business processes and basic finance,management and accounting principles.

  • Previous financial services strongly preferred.

Physical Demands:

This position frequently requires you hear and use your fingers.

Occasionally, this position requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, talking and lifting up to 20 pounds.

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activates such as viewing details on a computer terminal.
