About the Job:
The Finance team is searching for a Financial Analyst who will be a key player in assisting in financial analysis, planning, forecasting, management reporting and budgeting while working with multiple business leaders and levels of KT's management. This role will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience through exposure with Executive management and have a significant impact throughout KT's operations.
Assist with the monthly/quarterly budget vs. actual variance analyses for the departments you'll be partnering with, including writing the variance commentary
Assist with the company's modeling, forecasting and board reporting process
Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with business partners (e.g. Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing,Operations) to deliver key insights on expense budgets using meaningful analyses
Partner with various teams to better define and understand customer acquisition costs, especially Marketing
Participate in the monthly forecasting, planning and accounting close activities
Perform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis for strategic planning and annual budget presentations to Executive management and the Board of Directors
3+ years of experience with 1+ year in FP&A, Strategic Finance or other roles with financial modeling and KPI reporting as a core competency
Problem solving/analytical mindset, organized, and able to manage multiple initiatives at once
Excellent Excel, financial modeling, and analytical thinking skills; solid foundation in finance and GAAP accounting
Familiarity with Financial Planning Software (e.g. PBCS), SQL, and other data tools (e.g. SFDC, Looker, Zuora, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus but not required
BA / BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent field
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize; an independent/flexible problem solver who can adapt to changes
Understanding of SaaS business models and operating metrics
