  • Supports Corporate Treasury department in the governance of company-wide interest rate risk, capital, pricing, and liquidity. Requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Funding Desk and Deposit Pricing:

  • Provide market-level and line of business (LOB) support for deposit pricing through the Corporate Treasury Funding Desk, including taking calls from market leaders and relationship managers to evaluate pricing relative to the overall liquidity position, competitive environment, funds transfer pricing, and risk-adjusted relationship profitability

  • Develop understanding of the company's liquidity position in order to align and communicate deposit pricing strategies that ensure the company has sufficient funding and appropriate funding mix to meet business needs

  • Assist with the development and implementation of pricing strategies, procedures, and reporting working closely with the markets, LOB, and support partners across the company

  • Coordinate periodic reviews of the exception pricing authority guidelines and reporting for deposits

  • Collect, analyze, and monitor market and third-party competitor data in order to develop product and line of business pricing analytics and recommend strategies to management

  • Develop relationships with line of business and product leaders to ensure sound understanding of business strategies and balance sheet goals

  • Management Committees:

  • Participate in Bank Loan and Deposit Pricing Working Group (BLDP), a working group of ALCO

  • Produce reporting that clearly articulates pricing strategies, market trends, and execution of strategies relative to pricing guidelines and profitability hurdles

  • Assist with consolidating reporting structures in connection with the recent closing of our merger of equals with IBERIABANK Corporation

  • Asset Liability Committee (ALCO)

  • Assist with reporting on a monthly basis, including summarizing Funding Desk and BLDP reporting for executive management

  • Other Responsibilities:

  • Support company-wide capital management including stress testing, capital forecasting, debt/capital issuances, and the production of investor presentations

  • Produce ad-hoc analysis regarding industry trends, financial performance, and profitability analyses on the company's balance sheet

  • Provide on-going support to commercial relationship managers and treasury management sales officers via assisting in the risk-adjusted pricing of commercial loans and deposits

  • Assist in acquisition analysis and merger integration projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA or CFA preferred

  • Knowledge of banking industry with 3-5 years of financial analysis experience

  • Understanding of profitability and pricing concepts such as Risk-adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC) and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) preferred

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Must be open to feedback and new ideas

  • Skill with generating financial reports and presentations; ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Must be proactive, deadline oriented, analytical, have strong work ethic

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with VBA or SQL beneficial

Work Hours! Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

VIEW JOBS 12/21/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-03-21T00:00 <p>The key objective of the role is to work with the CFO and help the CFO/CEO/business and functional heads make data-driven/informed decisions. The Financial Analyst (FA) is expected to continuously derive meaningful insight in multiple ways and provide the information proactively.</p><p>A. <strong>Management Accounting &amp; Financial Analysis (monthly)</strong>:</p><ul> <li>Coordinate with different geos and prepare financial accounts based on businesses/functions and perform the analysis (4 geos and 5-6 companies)</li> <li>Monthly Dashboard (overall for the group as well as for businesses/functions) to be published capturing the key analysis. Monthly Dashboard to contain all the key financial parameters/metrices</li> <li>Payroll analysis/cost analysis</li> <li>Cashflow trends and analysis monthly (business-wise and overall)</li> <li>These reports are time-bound and are to be published asap during the month. The overall financials by 6th/7th of the month and detailed business/functional analysis between 10th and 15th of the month. As consolidated balance sheet would be available closer to 15th/16th of the month, detailed financial analysis of the group by 20th of the month</li> <li>Projection of future income/margins based on trends</li> <li>Any other analysis that might be required from time to time</li> </ul><p>A. <strong>Investor Reports/Analysis (monthly)</strong>:</p><ul> <li>Publish the Income flow statement &amp; Bal sheet of the combined entity, capturing unusual costs, and publishing the adjusted EBITDA</li> <li>The financials for Investor to be presented including the TTM, customer concentration, projections based on trends, and in any other manner that might be require by an investor. Some of the reports might be standard (predictable) and some might be unique/one-off requirement.</li> </ul><p>A. <strong>Financial Analysis of possible acquisitions (time to time)</strong>:</p><ul> <li>Assist with financial analysis of the target company(s) financials</li> <li>If any such acquisitions would take place, the financial analysis in A above to include such acquisitions as well.</li> </ul><p>A. <strong>Others</strong>:</p><ul> <li>As ProArch group is expected to implement ERP from probably Jan 2021, and as the current stand-alone systems and the company-wide ERP might co-exist for some time, the FA is expected to assist with the implementation of the ERP from future reports/analysis point of view as well as to use both systems until ERP is fully migrated into.</li> <li>As ProArch is a growing organization, it may be possible that new requirements might come up.</li> </ul><p><strong>Interactions expected</strong></p><ul> <li>While the role reports into the CFO of ProArch group, close interactions required with the finance teams spread across different geos for raw data and for coordination</li> <li>Interaction is expected with VP-M&amp;A wrt B &amp; C above, as required. ProArch also works with 2 external advisors (Dr. David Panton &amp; Dr. Klass Baks) and interaction might be expected with them too</li> <li>Other interactions (from time to time) may be required with business and functional heads</li> </ul><p><strong>A few other expectations:</strong></p><ul> <li>ProArch group is spread between USA, UK, India and Singapore. With most of the business activities centered around USA. There might be occasions wherein the financial analyst might be expected to be on calls with the teams in USA (1 or 2 occasions a month, for 30 to 60 min per occasion) and such calls might be required during the evening hours of Singapore (given the time difference). However, interactions with the VP-M&amp;A could be during Singapore’s working hours</li> <li>Presentation of the financials is key. Hence the financial analyst is expected to have significant experience in using Powerpoint/PDF to present the findings</li> <li>As financial analysis is time-bound, drive the finance teams to provide the necessary info on time.</li> </ul><p>Expect the FA to be a self-driven, self-motivated individual who would proactively and continuously seek trends and use data to provide key insights.</p><p></p> Proarch Atlanta GA
