Description

Provides financial support to the organization including assistance with financial statement closing process and preparation of financial statement reconciliations. Additionally, provides timely feedback to customer inquiries (ie department managers) regarding financial statement questions or concerns. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.

o Assists in the preparation of Medicare/Medicaid cost report o Prepares and sends out the time study forms. Provides analysis of physician time upon requesto Assists with the requirements of Medicare and Medicaid audit requestso Assists in labor reporting and analysiso Assists in unclaimed property reportingo Assists in other finance projects as needed

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related finance field.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience preferred Demonstrated knowledge with financial applications, systems, and processes Demonstrated ability to interact with leadership teams Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems, experience with HBOC Star and EPSI is preferred.

Working Conditions

Employee is required to sit continuously and walk occasionally. Employee is frequently required to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, climb, lift waist to overhead.

Employee is occasionally required to reach forward and reach overhead. For repetitive action, employee is required to use both hands for simple grasping and pushing/pulling. Employee is continuously exposed to CRT terminal work. (Occasionally: 1-33%, Frequently: 34-66%, Continuously: 67-100%) The most significant of duties are included but this does not exclude occasional work assignments not mentioned or developmental duties.

Responsibilities * Performs accounting, reporting and analysis for the company's equity compensation plan in accordance with ASC718 guidelines. Acts as a liaison across legal entities and segments in support of local reporting and disclosures. * Prepares US GAAP segment income statement and balance sheet variance analytics for the financial reporting area and external auditor. Obtains segment controllers' sign off and explanations of material fluctuations. * Performs reporting functions for the Financial Consolidation and SEC reporting group, which includes the following: * preparation of general ledger uploads * updating, reconciling and recording financial results for external and internal reporting needs. * detail analysis, compilation and reporting of data based on US GAAP or other comprehensive basis of accounting for reporting to outside regulators, (e.g. the Securities and Exchange Commission. * Assist with preparing SEC forms 10-Q/K/Proxy, stand-alone US GAAP, local IFRS and local Statutory reporting for the company's various reporting entities as assigned. * Assists with report development and/or updates; addresses financial reporting related questions raised by business unit, area, or function. * Shares technical expertise with others; recommends process improvements, provides functional advice and/or training as needed. * Coordinates communication, acts as liaison with other business units, areas and functions as needed. * May assist in annual budget planning, process and analysis. * Maintains regular and predictable attendance. * Performs other duties as assigned.
