DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide analytical support to the Global Clean Air Finance Organization. Perform ad-hoc analysis; prepare monthly/quarterly internal/external reporting packages, consolidate financial reporting, support financial systems update/maintenance. Ability to perform accurate, timely financial analysis and provide recommendations. Contribute to the strategic and annual operating plans.
Support Clean Air month-end close process by reviewing financial data, perform analysis and prepare consolidated reporting packages timely for distribution to leadership team.
Ensure financial reports accurately reflect financial performance in accordance with GAAP and Tenneco's policies.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested by leadership team.
Support the business planning processes (strategic plan, annual operating plan and monthly forecasts).
Engages with BU leaders, plant controller, finance team in all aspects of financial and operations reporting
Actively participate in the implementation of financial systems, tools, procedure/policies.
Review Balance Sheet and ensure internal audit processes and controls are operating effectively.
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Master's degree preferred
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet demanding deadlines
Solid project management, financial analysis, and communication skills
Excellent PC skills Experience with SAP, Oracle/Hyperion, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel)
Excellent team skills
Ability to set goals and deliver timely and accurate results
Ability to conduct research and provide effective recommendations
Some travel may be required
