Financial Analyst

ECS is seeking a Financial Analyst to work in our Ft. Belvoir, VA office.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon [additional funding]. ECS is seeking a Financial Analyst (Intermediate) to support the Missile Defense Agency Headquarters at Fort Belvoir, VA. This position is remote with occasional onsite customer support requirements. Responsibilities include: • Supports year-end close out activities of expiring funds • Facilitate and support MDA's Budget Estimate Submission and the President's Budget Submission along with any additional ad hoc budget submission requirements • Supports the coordination and management of the process that MDA uses to develop its budget submissions • Supports the analysis, review and input MDA budget submission data into OSD(C) database systems • Support the development of Agency wide training on the Budget Process which focuses on strengthening justifications and proactive approaches to limiting RFIs • Assist with the generation, review and revision of Standard Operating Procedures Documents • Provides budget integration specific support to the programs, PMs, and BFMs as needed • Generates financial reports • Conducts financial analysis • At least five years of experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) financial management environment. • Proficiency with a DoD finance and accounting system. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Excellent attention to detail. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Either have, or the ability to obtain, a DoD secret clearance. • Associate's Degree.
