Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst will serve as a key liaison for developing, maintaining and executing intercompany financial reporting. Additional duties will include monitoring and maintaining internal reporting to support business segments, assistance with the preparation and justification of annual and multi-year plans/forecasts, month-end close activities, variance analysis, and preparing ad-hoc financial reports and pricing models. This position will work closely with the accounting, sales, project, and executive management team to optimize communication, reporting and efficiency in our business operations. Additional duties will include monitoring and maintaining internal reporting to support business segments, assistance with the preparation and justification of annual and multi-year plans/forecasts, month-end close activities, variance analysis, and preparing ad-hoc financial reports and pricing models. This position will work closely with the accounting, sales, project, and executive management team to optimize communication, reporting and efficiency in our business operations. Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5 years of accounting /financial analysis experience (5 additional years of relevant work experience can be utilized in lieu of a degree)
- Experience with ERP and labor tracking systems
- Must be an advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) user
- Deep understanding of financial documents and operations performance measurements
- Expertise in Excel data manipulation, V-lookup, and Pivot Tables
- Ability to listen, negotiate, guide, facilitate and work collaboratively across departmental functions
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus
- Able to work independently providing financial and accounting expertise to operational units
- Must be a strong communicator with the ability to effectively present financial information to a variety of audiences
- Detail oriented with the ability to investigate and resolve problems
- Experience in the Intelligence Community, Defense Industrial Base, U.S. Government, and/or military
