CubeSmart is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst based in our corporate office in Malvern, PA. The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Financial Analysis and provide support with financial analysis, internal performance reporting, and budgeting. The Financial Analyst will be deeply engaged in analyses and projects spanning many functions of the organization. The successful candidate will be an analytical and strategic thinker with formal business education and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).

Prepare quarterly and annual reporting materials for Senior Management, including performance reviews, earnings-call preparation materials and updates to the Board of Trustees.Work with the Director of Financial Analysis to develop & maintain financial models, including performance forecasting, joint-venture IRRs, waterfalls, and NAV models.
Develop and compose presentations such as the annual Strategic Plan industry conference keynotes, and other internal presentations for Senior Management.
Work with cross-functional teams to tackle a variety of ad-hoc analytical requests and modeling assignments from various departments.
Provide logistical support for the Company's operational budgets, which ultimately drive internal performance review and external guidance.
Assist the investment team on analytical projects and market research & analysis.
Support the Company's investor relations efforts
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in Finance or other related Business discipline
0-4 years of relevant finance/analytics experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience using advanced functions such as formulas, shortcut keys, formatting/charting features, and VBA/macros a plus
Independent thinker with the ability to learn new topics quickly through self-initiated research; ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo
Understanding of basic finance, accounting, and economics principals
Focus on accuracy and precision is vital
Ability to analyze large amounts of data and to distill it into thoughtful conclusions and actionable recommendations; knowledge of statistical principles is a plus
Ability to work effectively in both individual and group settings
