Financial Analyst

Position : Financial Analyst (Gen) Duration : 12 Months Location : 1201 EAST 55 STREET, Cleveland, OH 44103 Quick description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing): Implements, and coordinates cost controls for the emerging gas construction project. Coordinates financial reporting and scenario analysis.

Develops and reviews project estimates, schedules, and capital budgets. Analyzes monthly cost reports. Monitors actual project cost and/or work status, ensuring projects proceed on schedule and within budget.

Provides status reports and updates to management. Supports contract negotiations. Attends meetings with contractors and company personnel on cost control matters.

Interfaces and coordinates with other corporate and operations groups. Abides by cost and planning control policy and procedures.

• Creation of budget of OM expense, related to previously centralized functions.

• Partner with numerous business groups to understand the work that is being completed, associated costs – including internal/external labor and outside services

• Establish a detailed budget (bottoms up) for use in 2025 plan.

• Develop method to compare actuals to budget.

• Other ac hoc activities as assigned. Top Required Skills 1) MUST have hands on experience with SAP & Excel and there use in creating/compiling/reviewing budgets 2) MUST have managed OM budgets and forecasting with multiple business units. 3) MUST have experience working/creating a detailed budget (bottoms up) for yearly planning 4) MUST have experience developing methods to compare actual budgets • What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)? o Transparent and open communication skills o Will need to work as a part of a team on daily basis o They must be able to lead & manage meetings • Preferred Years of Experience: o 4 years of directly related experience o Would be nice to see someone with experience in the power/utilities industry
