Job TitleFinancial Analyst
The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial analysis, budgets, budget-to-actuals, projected company revenues, sales reporting, developing all aspects of global pricing, other accounting and finance assignments.
Major Responsibilities, Activities and Task Statements:
Financial Analysis and Budgeting:
Maintain Revenue Backlog and Trending Analysis
Prepare or verify Total Contract Value documents for sales activity
Participate in preparation of annual financial planning and ongoing forecasts.
Review actual expenses versus prior year and budget and analyze monthly budget variances
Prepare pro forma financial and forecasts
Calculate and Report the company Sales Booking amounts
Populate and maintain the company Backlog of Revenues Sold
Administer sales commission plans
Analyze impact of proposed compensation models
Procurement perform and/or oversee:
Maintain process for all significant global purchases with special emphasis on capital and Operations expenditures.
Oversee global purchasing processes and procedures, including competitive bidding on significant purchases.
Analyze global monthly expenditures, identify savings opportunities.
Negotiate vendor pricing per the company procurement policy
Provide Monthly Financial Reporting to management in the areas of sales, backlog and as other projects as assigned
Manage procurement process, including receipt of request from company managers, check for budget availability, route for proper approvals and maintain purchase order files.
Perform Accounting and Finance functions as assigned
A four year degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field
Advance knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet applications
Financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
Self-starter/results oriented; proven ability to achieve results across the organization
Ability to identify and implement process improvements in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing and integrating data from multiple systems including ERP, CRM, and proprietary solutions.
Experience in identifying and implementing database solutions for complex FP&A functions, such as backlog, budgeting and sales reporting
Experience in similar industry and professional corporate environment
Experience administering sales commission plans and recording sales
