Financial Analyst

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This Financial Analyst is an important member of the Finance Team. This role encompasses various aspects of financial planning, analysis and forecasting to increase visibility and actionable insight into company performance. The position also includes involvement in system and data integration as part of the company's strategic growth plans through M&A activity.

Base Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains and analyzes key metrics utilizing a data warehouse and the Power BI business intelligence tool.

• Analyzes and interprets financial data and presents the information with reports and presentations to up to executive leadership team.

• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results to plans, budgets and forecasts.

• Performs analytical review of monthly operating results.

• Works with and advises the operations and sales teams on solid financial decision making to increase profits and minimize losses.

• Proactively identifies and seeks out opportunities for process improvement, automation, and synergy.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This role has no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of finance/accounting experience

• Ability to work with large amounts of data.

• Proficiency Microsoft Office programs

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal staff.

• Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution.

• Must present a highly professional image and attitude.

• Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking.

• Self-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently.

• Strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

This role is considered an in-office position at the corporate headquarters in Centennial, Colorado.

TRAVEL:

Minimal to no travel. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
