Financial Analyst

Ovation Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst!

As a rapidly growing company, we require a dedicated professional who can partner with our Corporate Controller to evolve and expand our finance and accounting organization. This newly created role is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the continued success of our company. This role will have high visibility to the executive team and will support the Corporate Controller across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, prepares, analyzes and distributes financial reports upon request.

• Assist in developing and implementing monthly close and reconciliation process across the business where needed.

• Prepare reporting for intercompany reconciliation and consolidation.

• Perform analysis on various accounts across the consolidated business to improve results.

• Assess, improve, and implement appropriate systems of internal controls over financial reporting.

• Work with Business Controllers to develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP.

• Assist with audit and tax providers in coordination and execution of annual audit and tax work.

• Prepare internal period reporting packages, including the income statement, balance sheet, equity statement, cash flow statement, and supplemental schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 3+ years of experience.

• CPA or CFA designation is a plus.

• Strong experience working with MS Office applications, including Excel.

• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools a plus.

• Experience working with Private Equity investors is preferred.

• Proven ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to aggregate information across multiple systems, analyzing the information to provide summarized results to be used by business leaders.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines.

The Financial Analyst position will be a hybrid position located in Saint Louis, MO.

We provide integrated distribution and maintenance, repair, and operations ("MRO") services for the flow control and instrumentation markets across the United States.
